Why You Need to Stage Your Home to Sell in NYC
Home staging used to be optional. Today, it's a necessity in selling a house.
Getting your home ready for sale requires effort, time, and a dedicated team of professionals who know what they’re doing.
From purging, scrubbing, staging, and shooting, there’s a long list of work you need to do if you really want to present your home in the best possible light - and unless you’re willing to dial down your price expectations, and you aren’t, you’ve got a little manual labor ahead of you.
Before the marketing plan is written, before the listing photos are snapped, and long before your first showing, you’ll need to make your apartment truly ship-shape.
We did exactly that for 115 East 9th Street, 2F, facilitating a drastic transformation of the home after it had laid vacant for a period of time.
With great 'bones' and a solid foundation, we knew that this 2-bedroom home had plenty of potential―all that was needed was some love and attention to get it to where it needed to be.
After instructing the owner to make various necessary improvements to the space, which in parts were severely worn down, we were able to transform the property into a bright, contemporary, and inviting home.
The improvements included a deep clean throughout the entire home, repainting all the walls in the living, dining, and bedrooms, touch ups to the kitchen cabinetry, and a good scrub of all the windows. All while doing so within the owner’s budget.
The results speak for themselves.
